Greek Deputy Minister of Agriculture Konstantinos Kiltidis Visits AHI Hellenic House HeadquartersWASHINGTON, DC—On April 10, 2008, the Greek Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Konstantinos Kiltidis, accompanied by Karolos Gadis, Deputy Chief of Mission to the Greek Embassy in Washington D.C., visited the American Hellenic Institute’s headquarters, the Hellenic House. While at Hellenic House, the Minister met with members of the AHI leadership, including AHI Chairman James Marketos, AHI General Counsel Nick Karambelas, and Executive Director Nick Larigakis. During the meeting, the discussion centered on items of mutual interest. Mr. Kiltidis briefed the leadership on recent efforts that the Greek government is pursuing to prevent widespread forest fires. "We were honored to have Minister Kiltidis visit Hellenic House.
